Questions on global warming?

For hundreds of years, if not housands, the Western world has been domonant in finance, economics and industrial invention. The leaders of the Western world now see the writing is on the wall and are becoming the also rans. China, India etc. are beginning to take over. They have vastly superior access to mineral rights including oil, the lifeblood of the current world. Russia has access to gas and oil reservoirs that we can only dream of and they now control us by reason of it. The western Govts. have invented a way out of this, called Global Warming. It will not work The West is scared and quite rightly so. The one fact that undermines Global warming is that the world (Planet) ceased to warm up 15 years ago. wave power, wind farms and the various other forms of Green power generation are a desperate effort to persuade us to contribute to the theory.
