Travelling on the Rocky Mountaineer Train?

I would love to know how you found this journey and was it as good as you hoped? Any good or bad points? Is it worth upgrading from red leaf to gold leaf seats? I understand the gold leaf seats are inside a cabin with a domed clear roof so you can see more stunning scenery>
