Tomas Molinares vs. Marlon Starling KO controversy - was the right call made?

The punch landed a fraction of a second after the bell, but that is why they specifically state "protect yourself at all times". You really can't fault Molinares it was on the way as the bell rang, and landed a blink of an eye after the bell sounded. I don't think it was an intentional foul on the part of Molinares, just an unfortunate accident. The end result was that it was changed to a NC (no contest), but I always thought the KO should have stood and Molinaries should have been awarded the win. Very tough call because he did get hit after the bell, but man it was close. A disqualification would have been too severe, but much like in the case of a low blow, possibly a point deduction and a 5 minute recover period for Starling before resuming the fight could have been called. The problem was Starling was KOed, and the possiblity of injury would have seriously increased if they would have continued. Very tough call, in the end a "no contest" ruling was fair.
