If Miranda is a Sentinel in ME2, why does she not have Tech Armor power?

In M Effect, every squadmate is one of the six given cles the player can choose from, and most of the time they utilize the special ability that cl has to offer. In M Effect 2, Miranda used Tech/Biotics, thus making her a Sentinel. But if she is a Sentinel, why does she not use the Tech Armor power?
