I have two white spots on my and occasional yellow discharge in the morning what is it?

I went to the doctor 3 months ago but that was before I had ever seen the discharge. He said I had a mild yeast infection but I didnt start using a cream (monistat derm) until a week ago. The itching and discomfort has gone away but i still had a little discharge
