I ate too much chocolate and crap? Should I skip dinner?

If you did the exercise after then that's fine because you burned a nice bit of calories needed to compensate for what you ate. If you feel kind of full then just eat a light dinner. A salad that's really really good, boiled or scrambled eggs, a decent (milk) shake made from scratch. Protein stuffs okay to eat at night. Just not breads, pastas, rice, high calorie stuff that will just sit there in your body, while you sleep at night. The things that are hard to burn are bad to eat at the end of the day.
