Studying Physics in France?

Can anybody advice me on why to study Physics (master’s degree) at a big french university like Paris VI or Paris-Sud instead of at some american or english universities? Because I do find the french system a lot superior. Also the master’s program there are better. So I just wanted to here someone else’s reasoning.
