I live in the United Arab Emirates and wanna study in lebanon next year!!! help?

I really want to go to University in Beirut,Lebanon next year but Im having a hard time convincing my parents. All my friends are going but my parents keep worrying about the stability of the country and if anything happens. Can any lebanese people out there help me out/??
