Do you think China's economy surping the US economy is a problem?

I read in a news article, the IMF estimates that China's economy will surp the US, which in turn could make them take the place of the US as the global power. Do you think this is true? Do you see it as an issue? Do you think China would take over US' role or will it become a bipolar system?
